Hello, and if you celebrate, I hope you’re enjoying easter egg drawings and such! Below are some truly exciting educator travel and PD funding with applications due in the month of April…
1. Founding Forward Seminars (Due ASAP)
There are several different Founding Forward seminars to choose from that last from three days to a week that still have availability, but they’re filling up fast, so apply soon! Teachers who attend receive a $150 stipend as well as a full scholarship to cover course materials, lectures, hotel accommodations, admission fees, transportation, most meals, and more!
2. Foundation for Teaching Economics (Due ASAP)
These economics professional developments offer stipends of various amounts upon completion of the program. Both in-person and virtual seminars are offered.
3. Air Camp, Ohio! (Due 4/15)
I included this in the last newsletter, but can’t resist adding it one more time, since there’s still a day to apply, and this opportunity gets great reviews!
4. Stratford Hall: Revolutionary Stuff (Due 4/25)
Housing, meals, and excursions are fully funded in this Virginia exploration of objects from the Revolutionary War.
5. NY Public Library Residency (Due 4/26)
This program looks amazing: “The CES Summer Residency is a one-week July program for teachers invested in teaching with the Library’s collections. Participation in the residency includes lunch and lodging for the duration of the program, round-trip travel to New York City, and a $1,000 program stipend.” Wow!!!
6. Summer Civics Institute, Online (Due 4/28)
American Institute in Washington, DC offers this online, virtual professional development opportunity which comes with a $300 stipend.
I’ll send May opportunities soon. Lots of luck!

Best,
Thanks for this. I was awarded an NEH institute grant that was revoked two days later due to DOGE. I then got excited when I saw the NY Public Library program listed here.then I read the fine print- exclusively for high school Humanities teachers. Such a shame. I'm an 8th grade English teacher who could really have benefitted from this program.
